ConnPIRG Education Fund Staff
Evan Preston is responsible for program, organizational development and research for ConnPIRG Education Fund. Before becoming director, Evan was a Fellow with OSPIRG and OSPIRG Foundation. While in Oregon, Evan published several consumer guides to give people the tools they need to effectively navigate the marketplace, coving topics such as how to manage your credit, evaluating financial aid for college and protecting online your online privacy. Evan also trained and worked with student leaders to release these consumer guides to their campuses across the state.
Originally from rural central Illinois, Evan graduated with an honors degree in History from Pomona College in 2012. While at Pomona College, Evan led a student-directed non-profit, Challah for Hunger, dedicated to reducing local childhood hunger.
